(ICPIR Founder; AKA RavensMagick)
1. In less than 100 words. How did you get interested and subsequentially involved in the paranormal.
I have been interested in the paranormal all my life. I got involved with the paranormal because my curiosity got the best of me and I wanted answers in regards to my own experiences. I believe that many times we just eat what we are fed because its there. I was not satisfied with that so I surrounded myself with those that share my passion to learn about that which most people shy away from, find too scary, or taboo.
2. What is your field of expertise or interest (i.e. film/editing/ research/ sensitive work, etc)?
I have become an expert in the collection of orbs. *snickers* In all seriousness though, my greatest interest is in EVP, but I have to try to at least learn everything so I can ensure that my team is trained properly.
3. What is your favorite ghost hunting gadget?
Me.
4. What is your favorite book?
The Ghost Hunters Guide Book by Troy Taylor. Any book by Kim Harrison.
5. If you could choose three dead people for a little chat, who would it be and why?
Einstein ~ I would love to get his thoughts on what he thinks about his inventions and how they have changed the world today. I am specifically referring to atomic energy.
My grandma ~ I want to hear what she thinks about my kids and I want to hear about the other side.
Jesus Christ ~ In all seriousness, I want some answers.
6. Three reasons why you believe in ghosts?
Personal Experience ~ thats the only reason I need.
7. What would you consider the "Holy Grail" of potential ICPIR investigation sites?
The White House ~ I think a lot of what goes on haunting wise is covered up, but what gets "leaked out" sounds very interesting.
8. Any other Hobbies?
Belly Dancing, Photography, birding, reading, scrapbooking, gardening, and I would say more, but I don't have time for anymore with kids and school.
9. What is your favorite type of music?
The harder the better. Industrial, trance, gothic, techno.
10. Paper or Plastic?
Neither - I prefer reusable bags.
