(ICPIR Assistant Director; AKA MsTee108)
1. In less than 100 words. How did you get interested and subsequentially involved in the paranormal.
I've always believed in the paranormal even as a young child. I read every "ghost story" I could get my hands on back then and still do to this day. I guess it's the unknown that intrigues me the most. The what if's and how's, and why's. As I grew up I came to realize, through personal experiences, that we are not alone in this world. I've had several encounters with things that could only be classified as paranormal in nature. Then late one night I was searching the net for one of my favorite subjects, ghost, and ran across this group who allowed chatters to watch as they investigated. I met a few people there that had some of the same views and ideas I did. Next thing I know, ICPIR was born and we haven't slowed down from that day. Sure we've hit a few bumps in the road, but we've managed to move on and continue to grow. We have each learned a lot while getting ICPIR off the ground and our education continues daily. If I could implant anything in someones mind concerning the paranormal field, it would be to NEVER stop learning.
2. What is your field of expertise or interest (i.e. film/editing/ research/ sensitive work, etc)?
I don't think I really have a field of expertise because I like to get my hands involved with all areas. I don't limit myself to any one thing. Although I do enjoy the research work quite a bit and of course working with EVP's. I also leave the sensitive work to the ones with the experience in that area.
3. What is your favorite ghost hunting gadget?
I would have to say my favorite ghost hunting gadget so far is my camera! But running a VERY close second would be the voice recorder.
4. What is your favorite book?
Oh this one is too hard to answer! I read just about anything and everything I can get my hands on. Although I will admit to having a passion for Stephen King and Ann Rice books and having read everything that they have written. Kings mind just amazes me. Hmmmmmm I wonder why that would be? LOL
5. If you could choose three dead people for a little chat, who would it be and why?
Hmmm...only three? OK let's see...first I think I would like to talk to George Washington. The main question I would ask him is what was it like being the first president of the USA. Second I would like to talk with my grandparents, just to say I love them and miss them dearly. Third I guess would be Elvis...wait a minute...he isn't really dead..is he?
6. Three reasons why you believe in ghosts?
OK this one is easy for me. I've hear them, I've felt them and I have been lucky enough to see a few of them.
7. What would you consider the "Holy Grail" of potential ICPIR investigation sites?
Oh man, how on earth can I answer this one?!?! How about a year long investigation covering all 50 states, one or two sites in each state? To me that would be the "Holy Grail" of all investigations!
8. Any other Hobbies?
Spending time with my kids, reading, and my computer.
9. What is your favorite type of music?
Southern Rock mainly, but then I like everything from the blues to country...except gangsta rap...that really gets on my nerves.
10. Paper or Plastic?
Paper or plastic? Oh no dear, it has to be fine china! At least that's what we call "Dixie Paper Products" down here in the ol' south.
